In Lifeline 2, players are immersed in the second story of the Lifeline series. This time, they connect with Arika, a young woman on a dangerous quest to avenge her parents and rescue her long-lost brother. Lifeline's unique gameplay unfolds in real time, with notifications delivering new messages throughout the day. They can even respond to Arika directly from their Apple Watch or iPhone lock screen, without needing to launch the app.

After completing a story branch, players have the ability to rewind to previous parts of the story or speed through sections they've already read. This offers an opportunity to explore different outcomes based on different choices made during gameplay.
